This week I was offered the fantastic opportunity of appearing live on BBC News for an interview about digital dependence and mental health. In a world that it is constantly connected, it is absolutely imperative to take a moment and disconnect from the digitally connected world and give ourselves time to recharge our mind and body.
Have some screen-free time to breathe, relax, and spend quality time with friends, family or loved ones. Far too often people feel compelled to constantly be available, to feel like they need to keep up on social media and constantly check work emails late at night, but we can’t be on 24/7. Give yourself the space and time to be present in the moment, enjoy the quiet, and unplug from your devices.
