This year, for Mental Health Awareness Week in May, we are holding a free training workshop entitled 'Managing Stress in the Workplace'. Kindly hosted by Southend United FC, this exclusive training event will equip attendees with the vital strategies to manage their stress levels. This is absolutely crucial in the workplace, an environment which can be a melting point of pressure and responsibility. Depleting resources and support, increased demand and workload, toxic relationships and conflicting roles, reduced control and constant change...these are all things that can seriously take their toll on our mental health. So it is vital we are able to explore the strategies we can use to prevent stress, increase our resilience and improve our mental wellbeing.
Places are free but ticket registration is essential to guarantee your place. In addition, throughout Mental Health Awareness Week (14th-18th May) I will be offering free consultations with local businesses to offer advice and guidance for practically managing stress in the workplace.
